a day in the presence of the Dalai Lama

Honestly, I can't adequately put into words a description of my experience on Monday. I attended a teaching/lecture by the Dalai Lama, in New York City. The first half of the teaching was very historical. The second half was what really touched me. He spoke from his heart. I'm still digesting much of what I heard/learned - so I will leave you with some pictures, in place of a detailed narration. Click on them to get a better view of His Holiness.

(I used one of my small ponit and shoot cameras, so the majority of my photographs came out fuzzy, due to the lighting.)

This was another one of those "once in a lifetime" experiences that I am thankful I was able to take advantage of.
