My friend Rebekah is having open heart surgery this morning. She should actually already be in the operating room right now. Rebekah has an aortic aneurysm. Her aortic valve will be replaced, and they may also replace a section of her aortic arch.
Please keep her in your thoughts today. She's offered so much support to me over the past year, and is a wonderful person.

I will definitely be keeping your friend in my thoughts and prayers. My dad has an aortic aneurysm but it hasn't gotten big enough to do surgery yet. It's very scary and I can't imagine how she's feeling right now. I'll be anxious to hear the updates.
I will, my 23-year-old had a very simlar surgery at 19 years.
